Reverend Horton Heat
Reverend Horton Heat
Loaded .38s, space heaters, and big skies. Welcome to the lethal, littered landscape of Jim Heath's imagination. True to his high evangelical calling, Jim is a Revelator, both revealing and reinterpreting the country-blues-rock roots of American music. He's a time-travelling space-cowboy on an endless interstellar musical tour, and we are all the richer and "psychobillier" for getting to tag along.

REVEREND HORTON HEAT have been the outlet of this creative mind for 29 years, leading to 10 full-length albums, 3 "best-of" collections, 2 DVD releases and thousands of memorable live performances. Never reaching platinum status or having a #1 radio single hasn?t been a problem for the Rev either, the band has continually been a mainstay of late night television and has toured with legendary acts such as Johnny Cash, Motorhead, Marilyn Manson, The Ramones, and many more, all of whom hold the Rev in the highest regard, as a true music industry legend.

Now, entered into a fresh new partnership with Victory Records, REVEREND HORTON HEAT show no signs of slowing down in 2014. January 21st marks the release of their 11th studio album, appropriately titled REV. The album marks a much lauded return to riff-laden, out-of-control rock 'n roll that fans fell in love with when they first heard "Psychobilly Freakout". The album's first single has already turned heads; "Let Me Teach You How to Eat" is REVEREND HORTON HEAT at its finest: tongue-in-cheek and so catchy, it won't leave your head for weeks.

The band has an incredible tour history and, with major shows and tours already booked throughout the year, will make sure you get the chance to dance one more time! Jim Heath and Jimbo Wallace have chewed up more road than the Google Maps drivers. For twenty-five psycho(billy) years, they have blazed an indelible, unforgettable, and meteoric trail across the globe with their unique blend of musical virtuosity, legendary showmanship, and mythic imagery.

"REVEREND HORTON HEAT, he's great and plays the music he believes in and nothing else. Go see him or I'll kill you!!" Lemmy Kilmister (MOTORHEAD)

Rev your engines and catch the sermon on the road as it's preached by everybody's favorite Reverend. REV is out January 21st.
Unknown Hinson
Unknown Hinson
While singing his own hilariously politically incorrect songs, Unknown Hinson plays guitar in a style incendiary enough to have Satan himself reaching for the antiperspirant. But don't dismiss him as a novelty act. He's one hell of a talent and has the music to prove it!

Looking somewhat like Dracula's nasty little brother who spent some hard years drinking and working as a carnival barker for a second-rate freak show, Unknown Hinson translates that vibe to his style of country and western-tinged psychobilly. The band is now touring nationwide, wowing audiences with outrageous and campy, white-trash persona and freewheeling, sleazy tone.
Hinson's most recent CD release, "Live and Undead", melds weepy twang, searing guitar riffs and lyrics that speak of love-gone-bad. Recorded at a sold-out show, an enthusiastic honky tonk crowd sings along with the King on every song. Raucous, theatrical and over-the-top, Unknown Hinson isn't just for the trailer park set anymore! Unknown is gaining international notoriety in the 14-34 demographic as the voice of lead character "Early Cuyler" in the popular show from Cartoon Network - "Squidbillies". The first four seasons were so well-received that an immediate green light was given to future seasons. Check website for dates and time slots.

Unknown Hinson is an international winner in the Independent Music Awards for his alternative Country track "Torture Town" from the album "Target Practice".

Unknown Hinson is also a featured artist for Reverend Guitars, representing them in many issues of Guitar Player magazine. A signature Unknown Hinson guitar is currently part of Reverend's celebrity instrument lineup. Full page interviews and photos of Unknown are in March and April 2012 issues of Guitar Player, and on guitarplayer.com www.reverendguitars.com

Upon his first performance at Rockabilly Revival, an annual festival in Austin, Tx, Rockabilly Magazine named Unknown Hinson as their "Find of the Year" www.rockabillymagazine.com

The Goddamn Gallows
The Goddamn Gallows
The Goddamn Gallows came from the heart of America's Rust Belt, arising from a night of flophouse violence. Drifting across the states, they cemented their sound in Portland, OR and later in Los Angeles, CA, where they lived in abandoned buildings, squatter camps, storage units and shoebox apartments. In 2007, they left everything behind and spent the next 4 years living out of whatever vehicle would get them to the next town. Building upon their original sound of twanged-out, punk rock gutterbilly (Life of Sin 2004 and Gutterbillyblues 2007), they began picking up stray musicians along the way and adding to their sound; washboard, accordion, mandolin and banjo (Ghost of th’ Rails 2009 and 7 Devils 2011) creating a sound referred to as "hobocore", "gypsy-punk" or "americana-punk", while never being stuck in any one sound.

The Goddamn Gallows continue to rapidly grow a devoted following with their volatile and spectacular live shows; a contagious, spontaneous eruption of unpredictability.
Birdcloud
Birdcloud
Birdcloud is Jasmin Kaset and Makenzie Green, a pair who met in a place called Murfreesboro and who, since 2009, have used things like booze and sacrilege to make very modern country music. The duo write songs about what Sarah Palin deemed "the real America," that unsung republic of countrified interstices stretching from coast to coast between cities. Kaset and Green's America is a nation of indulgent reprobates and boastful imbeciles, laughing maniacs and horny high school dropouts— the desperate, absurd place we all inhabit in one way or another. The band's music is the ravenous id of today's commercial country sound, and in place of the pandering and polished banality of Nashville's Music Row is a savagely honest depiction of "real Americans," where a teenage evangelical designates her vagina (alone among her orifices) to Christ; a Desert Storm veteran dispenses ancient wisdom while driving drunk and toppling birdbaths in the suburbs; a coked up blackout drunk on a spree fellates a rodeo clown and tells her friend's children that Santa doesn't exist. These characters are characters in both senses of the word: 1) eccentrics with notoriously outsized personalities, as well as 2) complexly three-dimensional literary creations. The complicated sensation of listening to Birdcloud's music—the simultaneous urge to laugh, vomit, and maybe break down and cry a little at how familiar and sad and true it all is—has won the band fans across the lower 48, stupefying and sickening audiences in equal measure.

Boasting a strong YouTube presence, Birdcloud's un-unseeable videos resonate beyond the continental U.S., with a slew of fan-versions of songs available online as well as an odd amount of unauthorized re-releases of official Birdcloud videos with Russian subtitles. Birdcloud's third and darkest EP was released in spring of 2014, and their follow-up record will launch in the summer of 2015.
